I would play same way! I was thinking of what range villain's had called in this spot and I just saw a kind of flush or backdoor draw.
Otherwise, he thought you'd missed the flop and call flop cbet, but, keeping calling on the turn was sick.

I would cbet on flop with a size of 1/3 pot. That what a fish is folding vs. 1/2 pot that he will fold also vs. 1/3 pot.
On Turn I would bet 2/3 - 3/4pot and River just shove.

But I like your play overall.

1/3 pot seemed little on a wet board like this but it gives me a less akward stack for the rest of the hand.

I would bet the flop higher against a fish. If you bet like 5bb the on flop you can easy shove the turn if you hit your draw or top pair like now.

there is nothing wrong with your line and also the bet higher flop and shove turn is actually also a good option.

given the villain and the boards the only mistake would be passive play.
