Second barreling with AT suited into 3 bet PF. Too fancy?

This hand I really don't know...
At 5NL sometimes 3 betting goes ballistic and I had the feeling we were squeezed so I wanted to defend.

SB checks, Hero bets 15 BB, SB calls 15 BB
Now when he checks I just have to bet with my hand I think (risk of being check raised is huge) and he calls?

Turn: (60 BB, 2 players) 8♦
SB checks, Hero bets 30 BB
My thoughts here: Who on earth would check/call the flop, check the turn with that board with a hand that beats me?

So I bet again...

Any thoughts? ( besides folding preflop ... yes I know but I didn't )
