check/fold flop

if checks all around bet pot turn.

You can really wait for a better hand then this.

Preflop: OK.
Flop: There is no point to bet in multiway pot with middle pair and no kicker at all, I prefer to Check/Fold.
Turn: If there haven't been any action yet then you could bet here.
River: I would rather prefer betting here 1/2 pot and call a minraise but if there comes a bigger raise I am definitely folding.

i usualy lead with 2nd pair when i am just with one villain in the hand so i would probably check / call flop and check/fold turn unimproved
as played on the river you can consider folding but with the odds you get its hard . if you think he takes this line with some rivered 2 pair like 67, 68 or a busted draw you can do it but i prefer folding the vast majority of time
