I think he limped with a range such as 77-22, A9s-A2s, K9s-K2s, QTs-Q2s, J2s+, T3s+, 95s+, 85s+, 75s+, 64s+, 54s, ATo-A2o, KJo-K2o, Q5o+, J7o+, T7o+, 97o+, 87o

I think he may re-raise post flop with a range such as 44, 22, A5s, A2s, Q9s-Q2s, A5o, A3o,QJo-q2o, or 1/6th of this range. We need to see his post flop aggression off course to get a better reading.

You gonna beat all hands expected trips and 2 pairs at this moment! I would call him and review in turn card! He loves to play second pair aggro.

The flop is tricky for sure. 3bet shoving flop would be an overplay for sure against a loose passive player or you have reads he can overplay weaker hands. I doubt he would do that and calling is also nasty and min raising looks strong for sure and without reads and some ICM in play I would take a nitty fold and keep the chip lead on the table.

Check/calling the flop and reevaluating on the turn is an option, your hand is strong enough to bet the flop though. I agree that the minraise looks too strong, but I cant imagine him limping 22,44, suited aces or any QJ, QT hands on the button. I like to take a quick look in the HUD for limping and button pfr for this situation.

we are in the "lucky" situation that the villain is not a complete stranger so we have a "sample".
his button limp range along with his postflop aggression will be my guide for a cautious call or a nitty fold.
Even though the fold might be losing EV on the hand, we are in a very comfortable place as the CL and we will be given so many opportunities in next hands.
