AA 3-way pot

Checking the turn after a checkraise OTF is a sign of weakness imo. Ur right, the board hits his calling range with some possible 2pair hand and of course nearly every set more than our range. Otherwise, he probably would have squeezed with some pockets as well.
Thatswhy i see also many toppairs, backdoor FD or OESD in his raising range OTF. For me its a bet OTT with the intention of checking behind OTR for a free showdown. But ur line is not much worse, but gives villain a frer card to improve. This river is one of the worse in deck and if he bets bigger, we do have a tough decision. As played the call is fine.

I agree with his weakness ott. I was sure that I was likely having the best hand ott. In this situation, villain was most likely going for a check fold imo.
If I bet half pot ott, I don't know how often he could make a call with 7x, or 88 (I don't think he hit a backdoor FD ott, otherwise he should've bet). This is why I planned to bet otr for value instead. I thought he was more likely to pay me otr.

On the other hand, he actually didn't have too many outs vs over pairs. Well, 8s otr was a bad card, but I think that's poker.

But what's really important at this point, is that villain puts u as preflop aggressor on a ace dominated range which we're missing (since he's a solid reg). So i see him quite often call many turnbets with worse hands including 76, 78 and 88.

Now i am pretty interested in some professional thoughts as well.

I think you should bet bigger on the flop. Other than that it seems fine if you are using AA to protect your turn checking range. I'm wondering what you would have continued with on the turn and how you extract value from your sets and OESDs and strong backdoors on this flop
