What's the best possible move against the button if he 3bet on cut-off raise? Button TOT 3bet 14.3, Call as I did, fold, or 4bet???

partypoker fastforward, Hold'em No Limit - $0.02/$0.05 - 6 players

UTG: $5.54 (111 bb)
MP: $7.28 (146 bb)
CO (Hero): $8.72 (174 bb)
BU: $10.46 (209 bb)
SB: $5.70 (114 bb)
BB: $5.56 (111 bb)

Pre-Flop: ($0.07) Hero is CO with T A
2 players fold, Hero raises to $0.15, BTN 3-bets to $0.45, 2 players fold, Hero calls $0.30

Generally a call is OK. 4bet is possible if you think the villain 3bets lightly. His 3bet stat seems high, but it' s important to know how big is your sample on him. If it's big enough to be reliable then 4bet might be a better play.

I have moved your hand to our hand discussion forum. There fits it better.
I would only 4bet if you have a decent sample on his 3bet%. Otherwise this stat is useless.

I'm with everyone else here. Call is what I would have done. ATo is a good enough hand to see a flop. But it also may be good enough to 4bet if BTN is 3betting that much over a large sample of hands. Stack sizes are large for NL5 so if he 5bets you can fold.

I would never call with ATo here, I guess. Either 4bet or fold - the reasons are: you do not have position and you rarely flop a strong hand with it. Gutshots, dominated toppair, mid pair, rarely a flushdraw, thats what you most often get. Which means, you do not have many Turn cards which you can barrel, and this means, you are prone to floating and burning money. If you 4bet you at least have foldequity preflop which makes it more likely a plus EV move.
