888 Poker - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BB: 143.8 BB (VPIP: 11.11, PFR: 8.89, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 46)
UTG: 109.2 BB (VPIP: 25.44, PFR: 21.05, 3Bet Preflop: 13.51, Hands: 117)
MP: 150.8 BB (VPIP: 23.08, PFR: 19.23, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 27)
CO: 67 BB (VPIP: 28.85, PFR: 1.92, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 54)
BTN: 51.4 BB (VPIP: 26.09, PFR: 19.57, 3Bet Preflop: 6.67, Hands: 46)
Hero (SB): 103.2 BB

Hero posts SB 0.4 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has K♠ K♦

UTG raises to 3 BB, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 9 BB, BB calls 8 BB, fold

Flop: (21 BB, 2 players) J♥ 7♦ 8♣
Hero bets 12 BB, BB calls 12 BB

Turn: (45 BB, 2 players) 5♠
Hero bets 24 BB, BB raises to 122.8 BB and is all-in, Hero ......?

I thought I'd post this as it was my largest pot of the day. I'll post the results at a later date (maybe this evening):

So my thoughts here are that the only hand that villain can realistically OTT that beats me is JJ. He would have bet AA pre flop and I am fairly sure he would have folded 77, 88, T9 or 96 too.

Also, I usually like to look at large shoves like this as a sign of fishy play. Rarely would somebody play the nuts like this so for me its a call but I would love to hear your guys' thoughts.

Easy fold he has JJ. Could actually also be 88 or 77 but I think JJ is more likely :f_biggrin:

Edit: Or did he have AA ? :pcuser:

Spoiler

BB shows J♣ J♦ (Three of a Kind, Jacks)
(Pre 18%, Flop 91%, Turn 95%)
Hero shows K♠ K♦ (One Pair, Kings)
(Pre 82%, Flop 9%, Turn 5%)
BB wins 199 BB

I think logically, JJ was the only hand he could have had. AA he would have likely raised, same as QQ. Though at NL5 he could very easily have AJ.

Overall though.. yeah easy fold.

Yeah Im folding here too, Generally speaking, 1pair is usually an easy fold vs turn raise.

When somebody with these stats "VPIP: 11.11, PFR: 8.89" even for 46 hands makes this move - insta fold. His range is JJ only and mb very rarely 88.

If we insta fold KK against a turn raise vs. unknown (46 is by far no sample) ...

In this particular case on that board structure and pot odds for sure, but not in general.
