888 Poker - $0.05 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

UTG: 101 BB (VPIP: 81.82, PFR: 45.45, 3Bet Preflop: 9.52, Hands: 45)
MP: 329.8 BB (VPIP: 27.78, PFR: 21.18, 3Bet Preflop: 6.90, Hands: 351)
CO: 100 BB (VPIP: 0.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 3)
BTN: 58.6 BB (VPIP: 26.92, PFR: 14.62, 3Bet Preflop: 5.77, Hands: 137)
SB: 100 BB (VPIP: 15.38, PFR: 13.77, 3Bet Preflop: 5.83, Hands: 253)
Hero (BB): 145.4 BB

SB posts SB 0.4 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.4 BB) Hero has Q♠ Q♣

UTG raises to 3.4 BB, MP raises to 12.6 BB, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 26 BB, UTG calls 22.6 BB, MP raises to 329.8 BB and is all-in, fold, fold

MP wins 78.4 BB

What do you guys think to this? Should I have folded/called MP 3bet instead of raise?
I definitely didn't want to call his 5bet shove as it appeared just too strong. Villain has quite solid stats so nothing was telling me a call would have been an EV+ move.

145bb effective, i think you can flat this 3bet and play psotflop. Yes, you would also invite UTG in a multiway but this means MP would be scared to bluff postflop vs 2 opponents and you still have the 3rd best starting hand.

Mb im folding the shove for 145 bb. otherwise, for 100bb i call i hope he has AK

But what is ur plan after calling this pre?

a) on a low board?
-> U normally have to go broke as well. Ur still loosing against KK/AA. Or are u still calling pre for set mining?

b) on a A/K high flop?
-> u probably fold against a bet. the hand is done and u saved some money (or get cbet bluffed by TT/JJ)

c) Q high board?
-> jackpot, but u wont get paid off by AK and sometimes also not by KK.

It´s hard to play QQ multiway on low limits. I prefer going broke preflop.

Hi

A) Not only broke AA/KK with this maniac on the hand , JJ/TT ,AJ include 99 in board low .
B) Call flop and look the turn, if bet I fold

C)Again , with maniac on the hand all is posible

If the Reg is good , he never broke preflop with AK for 150bb

I'm not scared of UTG (maniac), but of the range of MP (TAG). I'm not willing to go broke with QQ against two with overpair QQ - not in NL5. For sure the TAG wont as well (AK).

Okay, calling a normal cbet after flatting his 3bet pre could be an option, but multiway i dont like it very much.
