Played this hand against 24/16/8,3/224 hands villain, BB 3bet 13%, Cbet flop after 3bet = 20% (low sample)
Preflop standard call for me with AQo + this player is little bit looser so no problem for me I have around 54% equity preflop and I have a position. I put my oponent on something like this: TT+, ATs+, KJs+, QJs, 98s, 87s, 76s, 65s, AJo+, KJo+ = aprox. 10% range
On the flop I decided to bet small as there aren't many hands in his range I could get some value of and the only better hand than mine I could bluff him off is AK probably. Therefore I decided to bet smaller amount because if I bet something bigger I get called by better hands only and worse folds. Another reason I bet the flop is the fact I don't want to give him a free turn card which can make him a made hand.
On the turn I decided to check behind because I think he would call with better hands like AK or 65s, maybe AJ, AT if it's in his range or straight draw but I think he would cbet these hands on the flop. He would probably fold most of his weaker/air hands so I wouldn't be able to get any value on the river + check behind may look like I have a weaker hand now inducing some bluffs with hands he ch/call on the flop.
The river is practically a blank and he leads for half a pot. In this scenario I thought he can have like AK,AQ,AJ,AT or some pure bluff although it's unlikely as I think he would cbet the flop with pure air non-Ace high hand. I don't think he would bet like this with middle pair and I don't think he can have strong made hand like straight with 65s. So I'm left with ATs+ and AJo+ (most likely, I don't know if he would skip cbet with AT,AJ and AQ) my equity is approx 54% pot odds 25% or 3.1:1, easy call for me on the river.
The question is: Is this line reasonable? Esp. the turn. And what sizing would you use? Thanks.
