PF: limp 33 from early position. Standard play.
F: 6 players on the flop and I flop bottom set. UTG bets. I decide to call because the pot is small and I am not sure if my bottom set is the best hand. So I decide against a potential raise.
T: UTG stops betting and checks to me. I decide to bet because I do not want to give a free river on this board. (Straight draws, I'm also scared from A/K).
R: He donk bets 2/3 of the pot. I am not sure if I can believe him the flush because he did bet on the turn where there was only one diamond. So I think he either has a made hand or he missed his draw and wants to bluff me out because I did not show strengh as well. I decide to call because I am better than any single pair or two pair hands and I am worse than flush/straight so I do not want to raise any further.

Bad play? Cooler? Any thoughts? This hand drives me crazy as I lost a lot of money but I am not sure how I should have avoided that in the first place.

Raise flop! I would raise preflop as well, but limping here is never wrong. But not raising flop is! You don't want to hand out free cards for hands like KQ, QJ, Q8, J8, J7, 87, 86, 76 or backdoor FDs.

Yes, as mentioned above, raise on the flop.

OTR I think I might find a fold. It sucks that you have to fold a set because of a f***ed up runout, but discipline is the key in this kind of spots. After he called your bet on the turn, he has some piece of the board. So it's either a pair/2pairs (even though I'd expect 2pairs+ to raise), or it's a draw. Now OTR both flush/straight completes so you're hoping that he donks here with a pair or occasionally 2pairs that completed with the J. Pair is too assumptive because if he doesn't bet it OTF/OTT he isn't gonna donk it OTR. So you're hoping to beat some occasional 2pairs. Which might be too assumptive too, because there are possible sets, straights. flushes.

Also SB looks like a reg based on his stats, so if he is a reg beating nl2 his winrate doesn't come from a gameplan, that consists of donk bluffing river vs 2 more players when there were normal bets on the previous streets and they haven't shown any weakness so far. And the fact that UTG+1 is a huge fish should just reduce his bluffing frequency even more.
