You can't be sure that you will get a hand of better quality before the blinds have eaten your stack so I would say that a shove here is well played.
Definatly, I'm even shoving 70%-ish or looser here without a read on BB. This is the last spot where you have FE.

This. Although reads on the other players is nice too... if they're pushing and calling particularly liberally it can be good to just let them kill each other :).
