I'm considering staking a friend to play NL100, but I have no idea how staking for cash games works. Does anyone here have experience in this area?
How do staking deals for cashgame generally work/what kind of deals do people make?

first of all u have to be very confident in your friend's abilities. You also have to trust your friend. Transfer $2000 to his account and give him x amount of time to play NL100. Tell him to withdraw his money after this time. If he has anything less than $2000, u keep all of it. If he has more than 2K, u split all profits 50/50. You get original stake ($2000) back
