But if you give him more hands,like some (5♠:4♠:, 8♠:T♠:,8♠:9♠: or 9♠:T♠: + some :5x::spade: with straight outs) you have more than 52%, so it is a clear call.
With no reads I would call him because I find his all-in OTF strange with set and position. Hope I helped.

I would go broke here as well. He can easy have Ax as well and you are only in bad shape against a set with the nut flush draw.

If you fold everytime you get a shove right in front of you with TP and the nut-flushdraw, you'll loose money.

The main thing going for me here is that opponent makes a straight jam, which reduces likelihood of a 2p/set, and increases the likelihood of a 8s9s type of hand.

But in general, I would not checkraise this type of hand and go broke multiway - it just isolates you vs a narrower range and kills your 2p/trip outs. Usually would play this more passively.

In this case, you were the one facing a check/jam. You should usually be up against 8s9s 8sTs 9sTs, the occasional 2p/set (probably would discount these combos by 50% at least).

Even if you gave him all combos of 2p and sets, you have 47% equity vs 44-45% pot odds. If I only gave him 100% of sets, you are still committed.

It think it is a go broke spot. Top pair with decent kicker and nut flush draw, I don't think we can get away from this one.

I think that when he raises mw he shows he has a set most of the time than any other. The str8-flush combos can be played in other way so I am more inclined to exclude them.
