UTG+1 ($1150.00)
MP Hero ($1860.00)
CO-1 ($1400.00)
CO ($1945.00)

Preflop: Hero is in MP with A♦ K♣
UTG calls 100.00, 1 fold, Hero raises to 400.00, 4 folds, BB calls 300.00, 1 fold.

Flop (950.00) 9♥ 7♥ 6♦
BB moves all-in for 1540.00, 1 fold

my fold is probably the standard move but why would villain push the flop? protection against flush draws?
if he had something he should C/R instead of donking the flop.
what dou you guys think?

Hi all,

nice hand well played.

Villain can push the flop here with a draw. This is better than check/raising because you're too shortstacked to bet and then fold to a raise. So pushing draws maximises fold equity here.
