I thought he had no K and was trying to buffcatch. is this an OK move or should I fold these spots?

Flop cbet is very small for that board. It connects a lot with T8, T9, J9, 76, 87, all those hands (especially suited ones) he plays on the BTN. I'm betting at the very least 1/2 of the pot here.

I also wouldn't check the turn. The K is not very scary so I think you should fire once more for value and protection.

River call is ok imo.
The 8 is a card that connects a lot with the flop but you're losing to either a set or J9. Two pair is unlikely imo, as well as the K.
I'd be inclined to call here because of his check OTT. Once you checked again OTR, this could easily be a bluff bet.

Problem is that river isn't the best for bluffcatching. Well, it isn't the worst either though. Hence I don't know.

After his check OTT I would bet/fold 1/3 OTR. As played I would fold, because I don’t beat anything from his valuerange.

Bet 2/3 to 3/4 of pot on flop, depending on your opponent. When a K comes, its not much of a scare card for you, only Kx hands I see he could call on flop is Kx with diamond flush draw. So I suggest to bet turn as well. And i am check calling river. The board is wet by flop, so you have to protect your hand by betting 1/3 pot you give way too good odds for villain to call with his FD, straight draw.
River isnt much of a scare hand, so I would check here to induce a bluff from villains missed draws.
