I definitely 2nd barell. But it is verry important to know what kind of opponent are u against. 56/8 seems loose passive, so he can have any Ax or some PP. When he raise on river, I think that he should be better than u, so I prefer to fold. As he played, I would say that he have 55 or 65s or 2 pairs with Ax. Overall I think that u should fold when he raise on river.

Especially against a loose passive player I would go for thin value on the turn and continue most rivers as well. Now you have a hard time on the river, but I doubt you will beat any hand. Even with the good odds I would most likely fold.

what if we bet turn for thin value and get raised? do we fold if the raise is substantial?

if he's making a decent raise I would fold, because a fish isn't bluffing most of the time .
