I bet pot on the flop and push after his raise. You are out of position, in a freeway pot with a lot of players.. that's why I prefer betting pot. Check/raise is a posiibility, but I don't really like that since it is too obvious you have a Q and I prefer that on a non-drawy board.

I think your flop bet is fine. Pot size may be preferable, but I think 2/3 pot still gives opponent poor odds if he's drawing. The turn brings 8h which we can assume is not helpful to your opponent. (He might have been drawing to club flush and if so, the turn is no help). Since he bets we can assume: he either has the other queen - in which case you're going broke since your kicker is pretty good, or a lower pp, in which case you're ahead or Ax, in which case you're in good shape.

You can't not call his turn bet with trip Qs and no completed draws on the board. Well played, I say. Commiserations if it didn't work out.

flop bet is good but after the raise I would shove. Turn I would shove. check is wrong here IMO if villain was on a flushdraw you just gave him a freedraw the hit it on the river. If he beats you there is nothing you can't do you just have to go broke with trips Q J kicker

I like the hand as played. I think everyone is overrating protection here > value from worse hands (like overpairs, JJ, TT, etc). Fact is that for example the club flush only has 7 outs against us. So we can still call the flop and check/push the turn (like OP has done).

I lead at 120 chips btw but this is a small difference. Again protection not that big a deal given our redraws etc.
