why check turn? the four doesnt look that it will help either of you. bet, you are giving away a freecard. maybe SB is on a draw. let them pay for a card.
with top two pair and a totally unscary card there is no point in checking the turn, you have a clear valuebet on this turn since there are tons of worth hands calling you (any 9, J, A, worse two pair, draw) and a freecard could beat you.
My plan in this hand would probably have been to call the flop bet since bb folded and we go to the turn hu, and then raise him on the river, but a flop raise is not that bad either.
