Hello guys,

Just new and willing to discuss following street I did loose and try to analyse the mistakes and improved out of it.

Situation:
- Micro stacks 0.01/0.02
- Table: 5 players
- Hero on BB - 9h9s
- Vilain UTG+1

=> PF: Vilain open 2.5BB, F,F,F,C => HU => pot = 0.11

=> F: 9d-Th-Jd

On that board I did check - Error :)
> considering now that it could have been my first mistake raising could have been a better option (75% could be one ) since Q8 or 78 will rarely raise/open UTG+1.
Question: Any particular sizing could have been better? or other move possibly and why if so?
=> Vilain did bet 0.08 (70% Pot) hero did Call :( => Second error most probably => Pot = 0,27
> After replay I do think that check before should have lead me to Raise here since I am still beating Flush and straight draw + big over pair as AA,KK,QQ + Possibly 88 and AJ max but not lower and keep beaten only by KQ , TT, JJ so far if I am not mistaken over 60% equity
Question: Does my calculation seems ok for you - any thing to revise?
Since I still can improve with by 30% to full house or four of a kind.

=> T: 9d-Th-Jd-7s

> on that one hero open to 50% vilain just float and call...did he get it...???? No raising => Pot = 0.53
Question: I normally can only be called by better than me on that spot no?

=> R: 9d-Th-Jd-7s-3c

> At that stage their is no comment to say, Hero check , vilain open 2/3 and hero call … when it is already over => Should have never done Call.

=> Showdow - Vilain did have pocket 8 - 8c8h

So globally I think all my mistake use to be preflop, Flop by chosen move and maybe some sizing not speaking about awful tilt on Turn and river.
I am really much looking forward from your comment, advise and critics since I am working much already avoiding such tilt :) and improving...

Many thanks in advance for your time and support or Kick :0

have nice day all and enjoy the game !!!
Pokerly

I would just go for 3 streets of value with my set. Especially against a random NL2 player you will loose value if you check the flop and you don't want to give him a free card for a flush or straight draw ether.

Thank s for reply SDK1987 - definitely play value sound the best option - for sure even more on NL2 as you said.
Again many thx.

That hh "format" is way to unclear to follow, please convert next time.

It's a good spot to check/raise flop. Don't really like other options. It's not at all an error to check in the first place are you are supposed to check range here as the defensor without any range advantage and whatnot.
As played your turn donk is really ugly, way too thin and not standard, you aren't supposed to develop a donking range here anyway and you are value cutting yourself hard here, the board is supposed to be scary for him too and he has lots of nuts !
And no, we don't have 3 barrels of value in that spot, even at NL2 please give people a little credit.

I would check/raise the flop and go all in if reraised in Nl2, or would bet the flop big.
Turn is ugly, so check call once is fine imo to try to go into showdown, if face big bet or all in on river, probably would fold.
