Hey there,

I have a question regarding the plo traffic on pp. I want to start playing there, as I think that it is easier than on Stars because of the rakeback (guess its.about 4%, right?).

I am planning to start on PLO10. Fastforward is not an option because it starts at plo25.
So my question is if there is enough traffic on normal tables. I am planning to grind a lot and somehow afraid that i might not find enough action. I hope that there are not only like 2-3 tables going...

Can you maybe share some experience on that topic? Maybe also suggest another site with a lot plo traffic in case micro plo is dead (near dead) on pp?
So if there is not enough action on pp or anywhere else with decent rb...i guess i will have to stick to pokerstars...

Thanks for reading / helping me!

hey, I got some experience playing plo10 there, was also hyped at first by their offers but it's not sunshine and rainbow. Being able to get up to 40% rb is a bit of bullshit. You will get one point in their system for every dollar of rake you generate and if you want to be able to get 40% rb you need to generate 1200 points ie. 1200 dollars rake IN ONE WEEK, on plo10 that is cca 85000 hands PER WEEK. Because their rakeback is calculated and payed out weekly. So I would bet a plo10 player can't get more than 25% rb if even that because for that you need to play cca minimum 10k hands PER WEEK, so if you plan to play less than that you will have 20% rb, the porblem with that is also that it resets every sunday at midnight cet so actually those late sunday playing hours might come very useful if you're trying to hit 10k/week hands target but they will already be counted towards next week.

As for traffic it's okay I guess from 6pm cet to midnight cet to play like 6 tablesish depends on the day but not more I'd say because I haven't seen more than 10 tables running and only that for a few hours, and it's not that those tables will be all great. If you truly want to table select then you can only count on like 4-5 great tables I guess. After like 1am cet like in the night usually tables droped to around 3-4 running in my experience and in the morning/afternoons it was just dead w 2 tables and like I said in my experince 60% of those tables that run are actually good to play in i guess on others tighters.

Not to discourage you further haha but one thing I truly hate about party is that tables are anonimous when they close or another player comes so my pt4 was pretty unusefull at least HUD, because when a player changes which happens often especially if u table select you will have either all the huds set to zero or have all the wrong stats so that insanely annoying like I couldn't get a better hand sample on someone than 30 hands cuz in the mean time someone changed seat and had to set it to zero....

You migth want to download the client maybe and open it during different times to see if you like the action, for someone starting out playing 4 tables low volume not woring much about HUD I think it's a good site for some heavy grinder def not the site. I only played there because pokerstars was banned in our country if it came back I'd be back there asap, I'm hating this little sites like ipoke network, unibet etc.

Thanks for your quick answer pizdunar!

Yeah i read about the rb system and i think that it is still.better than on stars. I read that pp got togehter with bwin and.therefore i think the playerpool might be quite fishy.

I am gonna check the tables throughout the day and hope for the best! It would be really nice if there was enough action...zoom on.stars is nice for hands/hr, but i guess the games on party are softer and.the rb i still better...probably easier to beat the micros on pp than on stars!

Ty again for your answer!

maybe you can update this after some playing there for us to see how pp compares to stars, that'd be good... anyhow I still play also on party7bwin network so we might see each other on the tables sometime

Oh sorry, no offense i also played on bwin, had some money on there and grinded it up a little bit back in the days... people seemed to play like they were betting on sports too. But that was way back!

Hmm yeah, can update for sure! Although i have to admit that im still undecided...but tend to go to pp
