Started playing the NL10 this morning on 2 tables and it didn't go so well. My pocket A's, K's and Q's were all cracked. It wasn't a memorable morning save for the beating. The A's were particularily frustrating as it was a blind vs blind. The villain ended up showing a flopped two pair with his Q6o, and I did raise preflop but this is the way poker is sometimes. I also remember the pocket k's and I admit this was more my fault then bad luck. All players folded, CO raised preflop to 2.5xbb> I was sb with K's and just called and bb also called. This time is was the CO who ended up flopping 2 pair, this time it was Q3s so I do blame myself for that one. Ended up losing a total of $16 online.
I didn't fair much better at the local casino. I spent a total of 7hrs playing the NL500 and lost a total of $337. It was a long day of me just trying not to lose my buy-in. I definitely was not playing my A game. My focus was on "just wanting to break even" and not where it should have been. Which is to "win", not just survive. Tomorrow will bring a better day.
I would also like to thank PS for the equilab. I have just been practising on it and I think it's fantastic! I am very excited to start using that tool to further enhance my game. So much to learn
