30$ 6max HU J9o river decision?

Not sure if you have reads on him, but seems like a spot you can bluff catch.
Only his sizing is a little bit big. If you have some bet sizing tells on him it could influence the decision, but most of the time I would fold when he bets so big.

This is actually interesting spot in river because I think all options have some merit and unsure if any is clearly best.

Call: We block some of strong hands but not that much of villain likely value range. Still we are relatively high in our range. Problem is that we still dont beat any value range and I think villain is betting any Tx+ and possibly some of best 9x also. So any Tx I would call if I check but unsure of this one.

Fold: As defined above I think our hand is just bluff catcher and wont block much of his value range.

Raise/shove: This is also option as for check-raise bluffs in these sort of spots imo we preferably want hands that has some showdown value (thus beating most of villain check back range) and blockers to clear bet-call hands. So we do block straight and some two pair combos yet we still lose to his value range.

I did go for shove as I think we can even put most of villain value range in very awkward spot. Of course means we have to check some of the nutty hands also like straight or two pairs to have value range for this line. But as said not sure what is best approach in general. I didnt have much of history versus him.

sry but why dont you value bet river? You best worse 9 88,77,66,44,33,22 and A high. you are beat by any kind which probably would have betted the turn. A9 is unlikley. Q9 is the only hand thar beats you that fits. How many combos are that? If you bet river you can extract value or have an easy fold if raised. Its easier to pull yourself the trigger.

There really aint too many busted draws I could have after board goes the way it has. Some J8, Q8 type but thats it. To value bet I need to beat over half of his calling range and I doubt that will happen. My range will still have even some KJ in river as versus this sort of limp heavy player its bit tricky to raise those pre and end up facing limp-3bet. KQ I would likely raise anyway pre.

KT I would check-raise flop but QJ and some weaker Tx are in calling range. 78 would be check-raise some portion of time. Anyway I have so many better made hands in river that it will be really tough to get villain to call with enough weaker hands to value bet J9. In villain shoes its also bit questionable to value bet that many Tx as it start to be questionable to bet those for 3 streets and you really dont want to face check-raise on turn with some JT.
