Its not a surprise, brown did really well throughout all the testing and free practice in this weekend. Their rear diffusers are doing the trick(as we see the other two teams who have them- williams and toyota are also doing way better than they last 2-3 years performance), I guess if FIA concludes they are legal all the teams should have them ready in some weeks.

Any other F1 fans here?

I'm cheering for Kubica like every Pole does I guess :). I like Webber as well, he just seems like a nice guy.

And todays qualies, well - button has the best position, every poker player knows that :). It's nice to see the forgotten ones back at the very top. Both Button and Barrichello deserved that.

It was a superb drive for both Vettel and Kubica - without KERS, without the diffusors. Really, really nice. Ferrari seems to be a little slow, but it's Ferrari nonetheless, they can always show some outstanding performance. McLaren however is on a huge downswing. I don't mind that at all.

And too bad Alonso missed the top ten - he's too good of a driver to start the race in the 6th row.

Well, Im a longterm Ferrari fan.
They are not so slow indeed, they ran with more fuel during Q3, and I guess in race conditions their KERS should really make overtaking easy.
My race prediction for tomorrow - both browns scoring easy 1-2(although We havent seen their stability in a very long lap series I guess they will do it as long as they dont have any major equipment failure or pilot mistake), and I hope for a podium for one of the ferraris with the other being close behind. Its the first race though, cars are unstable, miracles happen.

PS I also like Mclaren at the bottom , thats where they belong :)

F1 for me is the only thing more important than poker in terms of fun........i try to visit a few GP's a year.....

This year:

Belgium
Singapore
Abu dabi

Roll on tomorrow

Roll on Jenson, i was in Hungary when he won his one and only GP to date

Grid 18 Hamilton (Changed gearbox after quali -5 places)
Grid 19 Glock (Disqualified because of illegal rear wing)
Grid 20 Trulli (Disqualified because of illegal rear wing)

Anyways I were glad that button got the pole :) Even thought I have never been huge fan o british drivers (I am finn myself) I like button. Hope he would take the championship this year.

Damn, it would be much more interesting if the Toyotas were in front. Much more fight, hopefully much more overtaking moves.

Anyway I'm looking forward to the race ;).

I've been waiting for the F1 season for so long and now its here!

As an Englishman I'm routing for Button.

Shame Hamilton is going to suck this year, however he has been a spoilt brat all his life (the best cars and equipment even when he was growing up) now he has to get his head down and do as best he can.

What do other people think of Hamilton?

Don't like him. Arrogant and overconfident. No self-criticism.

Button is a good driver, but a bit crazy, I feel he's not gonna finish some GP's this year ;)

You want to see crazy? Barrichello in this race taking out everyone at the first corner after almost stalling... that's crazy. :P

what a race, can't believe the brits did so well.

Congratualations must go to Brawn GP, what a performance. However comiserations must go to Trulli :(

Actually I thought that Brawn would have a bigger edge. It seems they're not out of reach, it's gonna be very interesting hopefully.

What a shame Vettel and Kubica crashed...
