It's interesting to know what kind of villain you are dealing with, but a turn bet seems a little bit loose. Especially if he doesn't like to fold. River is nasty with the odds you get, but I doubt you beat much and is folding much better or he has a bluff in his range is calling fine for sure.

Ok what card do you 2nd barrel? Only fd and pairs? If he is a loose passive ok but vs s reg the king is also fine. Is this sizing to small?

I would indeed only bet as semi bluff or with top pair or better on the turn against a weaker player.

I dont personally mind turn barrel because 9x is not big part of CO calling range usually and we can get lot of pocket pairs in tough spot. Villain might have some Kx but those should mainly fold flop. Though i think I prefer bit bigger like 600 to put more pressure on those pocket pair hands and also its not bad to force A high to fold because those might decide to bet as bluff and then we usually end up folding.

In river price is great but we basically hope for pretty thin range of hands like QJ that floated twice or some weaker Ax that went for weird bluff. So I would likely just fold.
