Limped pot ends up in overshav turn

Hi,

so one hand from 22 bounty tournament. One guy limped and I check on BB with Q8o. I hit top pair on flop and backdoor flush, I go check call (could go check raise as well with my shallow stack), but I wasn't really afraid much of anything (A, or K would not be great that's true). Turn goes another spade so I have top pair and flush draw with Q high. My plan was to check-raise. Surprisingly I receive over shav all-in. I think my hand is strong enough to call. He might do it with one spade often, with trips, maybe with Q and with some bluffs. But that over bet is weird. Would you call? Was it just bad luck or I should be more careful with these overbets?
