CO: 506.9 BB (VPIP: 24.79, PFR: 21.32, 3Bet Preflop: 9.58, Hands: 1,819)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has A♥ Q♥

fold, MP raises to 2 BB, fold, fold, fold, Hero raises to 7 BB, MP calls 5 BB

Flop: (14.5 BB, 2 players) 7♦ 6♣ Q♣
Hero bets 10.3 BB, MP calls 10.3 BB

Turn: (35.1 BB, 2 players) 4♥
Hero bets 25 BB, MP calls 25 BB

River: (85.1 BB, 2 players) 3♠
Hero checks, MP bets 63.4 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 63.4 BB

Is the call vs the river shove correct or should I be folding? Can't really think of a lot of 5x in his range.

Spoiler

Hero shows A♥ Q♥ (One Pair, Queens)
(Pre 63%, Flop 77%, Turn 70%)
MP shows 5♥ 6♥ (Straight, Seven High)
(Pre 37%, Flop 23%, Turn 30%)
MP wins 201.9 BB

Maybe 3betting AQs BB vs MP vs someone being 4% on 23h (not enough sample but let's say I wouldn't bet on him being really lag) might already not be the idea of the year.

OTR ok I wouldn't put him on 5x but what are you hoping to beat ?
Do you even have 2 big barrels in this spot ?

Pre is fine for me. He could be a nit, but 20 hands is not a decent sample. AQ's is too strong to flat OOP vs MP.
Your 2nd barrel should shorten is range enough. I don't mind.
River... I think bet/fold for thin value is better than check-call a shove. Check-fold is the best option imo. He shouldn't have the straight, but this NL10 nitland pool doesn't shove often enough OTR on scare cards as a bluff.

I like calling preflop, AQs is too good to 3bet here. As played, I guess calling the river is fine, he has stuff like 98s and FD and I expect sets and overpairs to raise the turn, so the river is close. I would call and make a note if he shows a monster or a 5x (which would contradict the theory he is a tight player).

Preflop 3b is fine. But your sizing is bad. Make it at least 9bb. Flop and turn are both fine. River is a fold, he can have 65, 75, 54, 55, A5 + some sets (see what your preflop sizing did?).
