SB: $1.82 (91 bb)
Hero (BB): $4.75 (237.5 bb)
UTG: $3.27 (163.5 bb)
MP: $0.61 (30.5 bb)
CO: $6.15 (307.5 bb)
BTN: $1.99 (99.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A♥: A♠:
3 folds, BTN raises to $0.06, SB folds, Hero raises to $0.20, BTN calls $0.14

Flop: ($0.41) 4♦: 3♠: 2♣: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.25, BTN calls $0.25

Turn: ($0.91) 7♥: (2 players)
Hero bets $0.56, BTN raises to $1.54 and is all-in, Hero calls $0.98

So what am I supposed to do here? Do they have something better than a pair most of the time? Did I play it ok? Thank you very much.

It's a 3bet pot BB vs BU. You have AA. Ok the board is somewhat ugly but he can have lots of hands you still beat. At NL2 they can totally overplay overpairs here for example. They can think TT is the nuts lol.

I think the hand is played fine.

I think the turn maybe could be folded or called and the EV difference might not be big. Usually I would say his turn raise shove in a 3bet pot is quite strong and mostly he has a set, but as pointed out villain can also just shove TT+ hands.

It looks like you need about 25% equity to call profitably

Board: 4d3s2c7h
Equity Win Tie
MP2 30.97% 30.68% 0.28% { AhAs }
MP3 69.03% 68.75% 0.28% { TT, 77, 44-22, A5s, 65s }

If villain has all sets and straights, and all TT hands, you will get 30% equity. Sometimes you could have less, sometimes you could have more. Count in the rake. Most of the time this still looks like a +EV call imo.

Yeah first of all, give him a range. I would say there is no way to fold on any street. But the spot is not particularly important because you won't lose any money since villain wouldn't be able to fold here as well.
