If I go to sharkscope.com and search players in their database, is that banned aswell?

I know of people who do it all the time and have been for a while, and they never received as much as a warning and have had no problems cashing out. It is also quite possible that their software can only track your usage of sharkscope if you are using Internet Explorer (Firefox 3 stores everything in a database rather than searchable files, including sharkscope's tracking cookie.)
also jus been informed by a friend of mine so message came up about using yahoo messenger whilst on stars
You should be warned that it's against rules etc before you get banned. There're ways to use it and not get tracked by their software (like virtual machine for example) but question is whether it is so important to use it.
Right opal, it's not really important to use it. You can get Pokertracker or even use that time to focus on the game and the players, that works also 
if you get banned for using sharkscope then its bad beat coz lots of ppl never get caught ♦
