UTG vs CO

Well, 77 is not in my call pre to a regular 3bet from CO vs my UTG range, but that's not even a min-3bet. Calling all day.

Flop is nice I'd say. He has Kx, high PP's that are cbetting. Check-call to a 1/2 is ok I think. My plan was to check-fold turn if unimproved. My check-raising range here is basically non.

Well, turn is a 7. Full's in. Decided to keep my plan and not raise, I think it is stupid. I don't have any hand in my range better than his hands basically, maybe some Kx's. Check-call to keep his 3rd barrels wide. I don't plan to donk river as well.

River is a J. He probably doesn't have JJ. KJs is possible, mas a remote combo. KK I'm done a long time ago.
He's 3rd barreling AA and QQ. Maybe some missed FD's, some Ax's. Check-raise easy. I can have bluffs as well and put his Kx on a tough spot.

Ideas?

Always hard to choose between raising the turn and the river.

If you think you can get a third barrel by checking OTR then your plan is solid. Judging on preflop action I guess you can trap...

If the villain is a tight reg that will not triple barrel here without a boat, then raising the turn to setup a river shove is better.

I would most likely raise the river smaller, because his bet is extreme small and I doubt he will call often a 50bb+ raise and is a 3x raise most likely better here.

Just mini raise on Turn - you will get a call most often I think.

Looking at all hand is so easy to say that calling on the flop is fine. But I am not really sure - half of the cards is bad for us and we are out of position. The same will repeat on the River. Hero got lucky spiking his 2 outers but otherwise?

I mean calling pre flop seems to be OK but we really call to hit out set? Then we should take the whole stack to compensate for the time we do not hit.

I think it is a fold pre flop ... Yes, it is only 2.5bb but we do not call in SB small pairs to set mine OOP for 2.5bb then we should not be calling this 3b, especially when player represent a stronger range

My god no it would be the stupidest fold pre ever !
And we do call 2,5bb to set mine OOP every day at micros. We can also 3bet sure but I don't see the problem with that. I wonder what you preflop game looks like lol.

This is as wrong as it gets.
One of the leaks I find in most players is playing PP just to set mine. PP is a made hand, you have something OTF while they miss 2/3 of the time. Can't play so fit or fold with them, it is definitely a leak.

As I said, folding pre is ridiculous to a 3bet of that size.

This was the reason I called turn. Turn raises are interpreted as really strong hands. By calling I can keep his range wider for the next street.
Sure, we should balance a turn call and a turn raise.
