equilab scaling

I found a thread that addresses my problem, but with an unworkable solution. https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?threadid=316901. (Maybe I inserted that incorrectly.) When I open equilab and then open the hand chart, the chart only fills about 20% box. This problem seems to arise because I'm using a laptop with a higher resolution. The solution offered is change the scale from 250% to 100%. This works for equilab, but it screws the hell out of everything else.

This fix was found during Windows 8. Has anybody found a fix that works for laptops?

Hi rgjuul,

You might be able to change the scaling settings only for that program. I'm not sure if this works in your case but this has helped others with similar problems:

You need to find the file location for equilab and right click the program.

1- Right click equilab program in file locatio
2. Select restore previous version
3. Properties box will open on screen - click compatibility folder
4. In settings select override high dpi scaling behavior box - in the drop down select 'System".
5. Open Equilab program and check matrix size

Hello Admin,

Thank you for your response. I am happy to report it worked. There were some minor differences in the appearance of the drop down boxes from what you described, but the general plan worked just fine.

I don't know how many people use laptops, with their higher resolution, but some sort of heads up in the instructions might save a lot of grief.

Again, thanks. I'm looking forward to getting to work with the program.

Richard
