The reason i checked turn was for two reasons, firstly for pot control which i had already planned that on the flop if a club was to come, secondly to disguise the strength of my hand. I still really think i lost out on lots of value by only calling the river?? maybe this was a raise/fold river situation? any advise would be greatly appreciated.

This looks ok to me.
I have never seen anyone donk/3bet rivers as a bluff. Besides, his range is capped in this spot.
The thing is that I can't see any strong hands in this range. Not flushes, not a set either.
He looks like some Ax trying to value a weaker Ax from you, mainly because you checked turn. But what strong aces should he have? I'd say not that many too.
So I think it would be really thin imo.

I would 100% cb 50% OTT for value and protection/this is where you missed value!/ and OTR will be thin without info, but I think another 33%/f will do better than x/c, you don't have anything to bluff catch, because the flush is there, his flush combos are an small part of his river range on this particular board! As played is an easy 100% Call OTR.

Yeah your right i think the biggest mistake was not continuing OTT, i really wasn't sure what he could have that would continue to call with as i literally only had a few hands on him. Thanks for your advise mate....

You probably have 3 barrels in this spots at the micros, but NL25 starts to be a bit different.
You double barrel OTT and then what do you do OTR? Check/call?
Nothing wrong with betting turn again, it is a valid option, but I like to pot control once in a while here.
One thing I see people doing often is betting a lot on early streets, building huge pots to end up facing very difficult decisions on later streets.
Another thing is that people are usually very afraid of flushes. When the 3rd card hits the board they lose control of it and don't know how to react. So they bet and bet for protection when their hands don't need that much protection.
This issues don't have to be particularly related to this hand, they're just general thoughts.

This makes no sense veng. You have a very good to bluffcatch hand in fact. And that's what cms did: he catched a bluff on that river.
If you are bluffcathing with your flushes you are missing something.
