The same tournament as in my last post, but earlier. more chips and different decisions.
HJ was the older guy opening pockets, calling Ax off, broadways, suited connectors - quite loose, but when he hits the board it might get dangerous.
BB was a difficult player. Quite agro, but haven't seen anything crazy, played quite good with the board.
Action pre thought its a nice spot to 3bet vs HJ, who I've 3bet earlier few times from BB or button which I've seen made him very irritated. BB thinks and calls. HJ was quite angry but called also ![]()
Low unsuited flop - I was quite happy. Check Check to me. And I bet around 50%. Thought it's a good sizing to make some :Ax:,
fold, some broadways and connectors which were possible in villains ranges. I was most afraid of opponents getting some trips from the flop which was quite possible. Was it a proper betsize in this case?
BB calls, HJ fold.
Turn is K♦: . Here I got a bit scared vs bb. Possible flush draws, K would hit me hard also. Check Check. What should be the action here also? Pull the trigger for the second time?
River comes T♦: . Here it starts getting more interesting because BB takes the initiative and bets 10k which is around 50%.
I was tanking quite long what to do. possible trips, flush, :Kx:. Finally I've folded, which I think was a good decision.
Was it played correctly? What could have been improved?
