With antes in play you can easy shove with a <13bb stack I think on the SB and QTo is an easy shove.

Well when to shove or limp is not black and white to me depending of effective stack really. E.g. shoving small pocket 20bb deep is totally fine. But in general over 20bb deep I am not shoving and I tend to mainly minraise as default. If villain is really 3bet happy then limping with deeper becomes more usable also.

When less than 20bb I start to limp more as 3bet shoves tend to be more common. E.g. if you open T9s 30bb deep and face 3x 3bet call is pretty easy option. But if you minraise it 18bb deep it really suck to fold to shove. So I will still minraise as stack goes shorter but it will be more polarized.

When it goes closer to 10bb you can well limp QTo as you did but was your plan to call versus shove? Most of time I would be ready to stack off after limp as QTo is pretty strong hand to be folded. But lets say you have hand like T8o. Sure you can open shove it profitably with bit over 10bb in nash but its not hugely profitable so having it in limp-fold range is ok option. If we take T8s on other hand limp-folding it 12bb deep would often be pretty questionable so it will be more of shove hand.

Also what hands to balance limp range with? E.g. hands like AT, KJ, QJ or QQ work pretty well for it because those play well postflop also. So if villain does check its not as bad. But some A8 or 55 are very profitable shoves but less nice as postflop hands. Also often its questionable if you want to induce action with some A3o or 44 as those rarely dominate any hands.

Then you have some of gray area hands like JTs etc. So lets say we have 15bb and get JTs. It has nice postflop playability so you dont mind to get into postflop. But you want to think about it from different possibilities. If you limp and face shove do you call or fold? If folding would it still be better option to shove and take guaranteed +EV option and not try to use hand postflop? There is not necessarily one clear answer.
