fish, err, i mean, villain is 44/25/41/4.3(3bet)/1.7(af):

i decided to call for pot odds, plus i can be ahead of draws. So i call. Then the river is close imo. Herocall or zerocall?

sick river but i like the call. V could be valuebetting 88+ here as well as some worse aces.

88? i somehow don't see it at all... This guy can bluff river w/o a doubt, but turning 8x into a bluff is probably too much for his talent. There is no logic in bluffing 8x here, I think even 45/25 guy might understand it... board structure kinda screams...
Besides, there are not that many 8x hands in his range that we beat.

There are 64 combination of Ax hands that we beat. We have to cut around 2/3rd of them given the action. Some he will fold preflop, some he won't donk on the flop, some he will bet on the turn (AXd) and some he won't valuebet on the river. However, given the pot odds there will be still probably enough left to compensate for slowplayed flushes, Tx and 2p hands that beat us.
The other problem is that he doesn't have that many hands to turn into a bluff on the river. So overall I would call w/o any additional reads, but I wouldn't be too happy...

Its good to know as much as possible about his betting patterns... by default river bet looks like a valuebet to me.
