Hi everyone,

this hand is not about the question whether to push or not, because it is obvious to me. In fact I am asking myself, with which range the SB can call here due to the two smallstacks. I would have guessed that this is a situation in which he can only play aces. But if I have set up ICMIZER correctly, he may call down to QQ. Can that be correct and would you play KK or QQ in SBs situation?

His stack is not much bigger than the other 2 and only one of them has folded. If he is last to act or has more chips his range narrows, I guess. Play around with stacks/position to see what comes up!

Yeah I think he can call bit wider than just AA. Your range is still going to be pretty wide like 50-60% in nash? Of course SB should take future hands into account that those small stacks are very likely to get allin in next few hands so probably still really tight range. But if ICMizer had FGS(future game simulation) its definitely worth to play around with it.

PS: Did not use any tool and have not played 9man in long time.

Actually did check with nash ranges and in it you shove 92.8%, 22+ Tx+ 92s+ 93o+ 82s+ 84o+ 72s+ 73o+ 62s+ 63o+ 52s+ 53o+ 42s+ 43o 32s, SB call 88+ and BB call 50.5%, 22+ Kx+ Q2s+ Q5o+ J5s+ J7o+ T7s+ T9o 98s. Now this wont account any of that FGS so SB range should be bit tighter but probably TT+ or so would still be fine if you are close to any2.

TT+ seesm legit, but if you would shove tighter he's range should be tighter. Off course I would expect most players would call to loose in spots like this.

Cheers,
