Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has J♣ T♣

fold, fold, Hero raises to 3 BB, fold, BB raises to 12 BB, Hero calls 9 BB

Flop: (24.5 BB, 2 players) Q♥ 7♠ K♣
BB bets 8 BB, Hero calls 8 BB
Questions and thoughts:

Spoiler

I thought about check/raising here, but villain had been playing so nitish, that apart from JJ (or a less probable AQs), he 3bet range was crushing me. So I decided to only call here.

Turn: (40.5 BB, 2 players) 2♠
BB bets 29 BB, fold
Questions and thoughts:

Spoiler

Should I pursue my draw here?
Pot wise, his cbet looked big, so I would have to count on implicit odds to call here (I guess) and I didn't have much info on villain.

Spoiler

BB wins 38.5 BB

Pre-flop i would fold on a big 3bet with JTs against a tight player, but rest seems alright so deep. if you raise the flop you need to give up if he would 3bet on you and you get decent odds on his small Cbet. Turn is a easy fold I think with 6 clean outs for a straight.

Cheers,

I think you played fine.
You shouldn't fold preflop. It's exploitable. This is BTN vs blinds, so you should call 3bets with a relatively wide range.
And a 4x 3bet is a regular 3bet size btw.
Flop you have the odds and position. You don't have value hands here except KQ, so calling is better than raising imo.
Turn adds a flushdraw, you could raise here to take down the pot, but against the average "reg" player, whose 3bet range from the SB won't differ much from the rest of the positions because he doesn't adapt, you are better folding. He won't double barrel with hands like JT and draws, and you happen to block them, so one more reason to fold.

I agree with SDK1987 villain 3beted 12BB so you should better the fold pre flop. SDK1987 what your call range this bigger 3bet raise pre flop? 1010++ and AQs+?
