Preflop: Make a normal raise preflop, ~$7.50.

As playd
Flop: I think I am going broke, pretty decent decision.

Do not make fancy moves as raising small preflop with KK or AA. Just raise to 3x his bet. You want to built a pot and you do not want him to outrun you on the flop.

Flop: As I see it. Donkies play by both of you (minraise followed by another minraise). YOU MUST PROTECT (flop is dangerous), raise to $24 and go broke.

In my opinion your bet size was terrible bad played.
Preflop you must re-raise to 7.5
In the flop min raise was terrible again you must raise to POT size it's around 25-30 to protect your hand in that dangerous texture of the flop

You should 3-bet bigger to 8$
You can only call and likely shove none turn card or depends on the reads fold to turn bet, but raising and getting all-in on that board is fine.
Just raise flop to 20$.
