Seems well played if you ask me. You hit a set and you get decent action and it's tough to give the CO credit for only TT and AA and I would stack off there as well.

I think utg more poorly because just call pre flop AKo.
You played fine, easy stack off. Next time you will win.

I think my major concern in this type of hand is if I should or not take the SS into account...

Should I bet/raise to keep him in the pot? Should I complete ignore him? Should I choose a size that allows me to 4 or 5 bet on the flop yet?

You should raise OTF and the size is good, you can shove OTT. You can competly ignore the SS, he will put his stack if he has a piece of this flop most of the time, regardless of your action.
