VILLIAN took a very strange line here preflop, in my opinion he caps, i guess AK, AA, KK would 3bet smaller to get some value. So i put him on middle/high pair, which is agaist my flushdraw and at least 1 overcard close to a flip... how would you react?

hope the formating is ok, wasn't here in a long time. :f_biggrin:

I would 3bet this pre most of the time for value. As played you can call this pre. On the flop I check back because I have sd value and reeval turn. If you bet its tough to fold this. This is exactly the reason why ich check back this deep.

Only problem with 3betting that you need to fold if you face a 4bet, but against a HJ raise a 3bet seems pretty standard or the villain is tight. As played I wouldn't mind the Semi bluff Cbet, but than you need to call if he shoves like now and that's a nasty variance situation that you don't want so deep I think. In the end you need to go for it. Especially if you are far away from ITM.

Yep versus minraise I would often 3bet and facing 4bet is pretty rare from these positions and being deep. If its really small 4bet call from position is fine though. On flop I would check more often for showdown value and you want to ask how many better hands are you getting to fold by semibluffing? Probably none with single bet. But if you do bet and face raise you need to stack off.

I think most of time hand like TT is not planning to fold to second barrel either unless there is some scare card.
