QQ - K high flop - villain donks

since im doing better at poker i'll offer free advice to raise small the flop bet and take initiative.

You must not just pay attention to the board. The King and Ace on the board are dangerous. But, you must also pay attention to the bet size. There is no way that you should fold your strong hand to a measly 5 BB bet. Since there is a King and an Ace on the board, I would just call. It is tempting to raise because the bets are so weak. But, I would not overplay the very vulnerable pocket Queens.

What is small? Raise to $0.50? Anything > $0.50 would probably make me committed on the turn if the villain calls, wouldn't it? If I had TP+ I would probably bet almost pot size to protect from draws. All these options do not really satisfy me.

Anyway I hear your advice acknowledging that you are doing better at poker.

I like the flat OTF, fold is out of question and if you raise you gain nothing, if you have the best hand he will fold, if he has a draw, or king or better hand he'll call and you'll have hard time on next streets. But the fold OTT is really bad, just terrible. If nothing else, you have at least odds for set, you must pay 5 to win 150. This card is good for you you can easily represent it, or you can flat tagain and reevaluate OTR, you have many good options and fold is not one of them.

Thanks, this is a useful answer to me. So the 1:10 pot odds and the 2 outs for a set do not solely justify a call OTT, I guess. Equity is only good enough if we account for the probability of holding the best hand, right? Also what if there is another clubs?

If I call, at the turn the pot will be $1.15. I wonder how much I can call on the river if the villain bets again? I'm totally unsure here, I think that is why I folded.

Folding turn for those odds is nitty, but with 2 outs for a set and you are sometimes even ahead. If he would bet 1/3 pot or more on the river I would most likely fold, but I expect he will bet 10c again or bets big or he checks the river.

Yeah SDK is right, it's unlikely that he'll make a reasonable bet OTR. If he make one you can fold. You have 1:10 direct odds for a set, but you also have implied odds. I think that you have the best hand here way more often than you think. Those fishy weak donks are rarely strong hand, they are more often weak hands, mostly underpairs or 2nd/3rd pairs, or even nothing. The fish often thinks that he might steal the pot with a weak bet. You'll play some more hands and you'll gain experience.
