Table 6max

Against loose who calls a lot (BB)

Hero : 100bb
Vilain: 37,5 bb remaining

Pre-Flop: (1,4bb) Hero is BB with A♦:K♦:
others fold, BUTTON raises to 3bb, SB fold, Hero raises to 9,5bb, BU calls

Flop: (19,2bb)
5♠:5♣:7♠:
Hero Checks, Button raise 1bb, Hero Calls,

Turn (21,2bb)
K♠:
Hero raises 10,5 bb, Button Checks

River (42,2bb)
Hero 78,3bb remainng
Vilain 15,9bb remaining

T♦:
Hero raises 20,5 bb, vilain calls, and wins with KT

How do you consider the bet on the river ? was it a value bet, or was it better to check there ?
I raised cause i thought that he would call with any Kx

In addition, do you think that i would have to raise on flop ?

For 37bb i think it's ok , you could check raise the turn but much of a muchness imo. Were never folding the flop for 1bb and the turn were never getting away for these stack sizes

Not sure what PRF means, but any way. You could still Cbet the flop on a paired board I think. You want to represent a over pair I think. As played a call of a min bet is decent. If you raise you representing a flush draw or a full house. As played I would check to the raiser and raise if he would bet that small again. Not sure how the BTN can check the turn on a bet of you. Raising turn and river is wrong as well. You are betting here, because you can't raise if no 1 has bet on the turn or river.

Cheers,

You're never check/folding river, better just to jam. You're both pretty much pot committed unless he called turn with a flush draw. If he's loose he will find calls with a lot of worse hands.

SPR is like 1.3 on a fairly dry flop, and given his recreational loose image (indicated by his starting stack size) he will have overcards a lot here. Check/jam all day long
