hi

I think vs an unknown player I should either bet turn for value again or check back flop for pot control. I think it should be best with my stack size.

iPoker - 40/80 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 4 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager

BB: 3,591 (44.9 bb)
Hero (CO): 1,319 (16.5 bb)
BTN: 970 (12.1 bb)
SB: 3,120 (39 bb)

4 players post ante of 10, SB posts 40, BB posts 80

Pre Flop: (pot: 160) Hero has T♦: A♠:
Hero raises to 167, 2 folds, BB calls 87

Flop: (414, 2 players) 8♠: 2♣: 2♦:
BB checks, Hero bets 181, BB calls 181

Turn: (776, 2 players) J♦:
BB checks, Hero checks

River: (776, 2 players) 9♠:
BB bets 240, Hero folds

Results: 776 pot (0 rake)
Final Board: 8♠: 2♣: 2♦: J♦: 9♠:

BB wins 776

Without any antes in play I would raise like this as well. Otherwise a shove would be a decent option. I doubt you can bet for value on turn and is your line fine I think.
