if bb would have been the pf aggressor i like to raise the flop with my sets a lot since i often get the kind of action you got there.
But i think that especially on 3/6 donkbets often indicate weak hands/bluffs and i think we generally get more value by calling the flop and raising the turn since he will often bet his bluffs and marginal hands again, but would fold them to a flop raise.
