hi,

this hand is played vs a reg. I think calling the river is very close. I think 3betting pre is better and of course stack off if he 4bets.

IPoker, $9.09 Buy-in (15/30 blinds) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 5 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: 1,327 (44.2 bb)
Hero (BB): 1,437 (47.9 bb)
MP: 3,197 (106.6 bb)
CO: 1,549 (51.6 bb)
BTN: 1,490 (49.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8♦: 8♣:
3 folds, SB raises to 90, Hero calls 60

Flop: (180) 6♥: 4♦: Q♣: (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

Turn: (180) 6♣: (2 players)
SB bets 97, Hero calls 97

River: (374) A♣: (2 players)
SB bets 202, Hero folds

Results:

Spoiler

374 pot
Final Board: 6♥: 4♦: Q♣: 6♣: A♣:
SB mucked and won 374 (187 net)
Hero mucked 8♦: 8♣: and lost (-187 net)

Pre I am fine with call or 3bet. Flop would go for value bet and protection. As played turn and river is well played. Could have some slowplayed stuff, flush and probably some Ax also.

It's interesting to know what your plan was with checking the flop, but rest seems reasonable as played.

well the plan was to float flop or turn. Nervertheless if I call pre I have to bet flop for value and protection.
