I think my flop bet makes little sense. Should I check/call the flop or what is the best play? Once I hit the straight, there is no way to get off that hand?

The flop bet makes sense, but the turn is a tricky card multi way.
Change you are against a flush is decent and I would bet around half pot and fold on a raise.
A straight is not the nuts against so many players.

Check flop as it's 6way (lol) so your fold equity is like less than 10% and you have quite weak draw. As played when three people call I would likely check-fold to reasonable bet on turn.

It's very coordinated flop so someone from five villains are likely having some sort of hit. Theory wise villains should give lot of respect to bet and fold mediocre hits. Though when we size it only 1/3 of pot they probably still can call quite wide. Anyway less than 10% was just my out of hat guess that everyone ends up folding.

So when we don't have much fe we should only bet with strong made hands or strong draws if we want to balance that. So I would rarely bet and would use big sizing like pot size or maybe even more sometimes. Value range would mainly be two pair+.
