2 players limped in so I Open Raised for 5bb UTG and CO both call. What would their average calling ranges be ? I wasn't too sure what to think ,some players maybe limp call with 88,99, JTs, QKo? I wasnt quite sure . The flop came and UTG leads out for 0.12,
for sure figured he had Ax or Kx. When CO calls I thought his range would consist of alot of Jacks some Tens maybe QT, I think about it and I have Nut flush draw , pair of kings and a gutshot, I figure its best to raise it here and try to get it all in the middle before the turn since i figured UTG for sure caught something and I didnt want to give another card to a straight while also I thought i had so many outs it would be best to get it in before my equity goes down if the turn misses, is that bad thinking process? . CO actually goes all-in and I call. what do you guys think of the call and what range would you have put these players on ? thanks in advance . appreciate it

I have moved your hand to our hand discussion forum. There fits it better.
Not sure if you like to use a auto-rebuy function. Than you can play the whole time with a stack of at least 100bb.

The hand seems well played. I wouldn't mind to just call the flop, because I expect that you need to hit your draw to win and if you stack off you take the variance line. That's not a bad approach, but I think it could be more +ev to take the passive approach post-flop multi way.

Cheers,

You cant go far wrong with raising the flop but with middle pair and being 3 way there isn't much reason to raise you can just flat.

If I just call and see a turn card and it misses for me doesn’t that put me in a worse spot to call a large bet? That’s what I’m unsure of, I don’t know how to play that way I thought your just supposed to put it all in the middle on flop

Not really you have so much equity you can call a pot size turn as your going to have 33% equity vs any reasonable range. And your middle pair does have some decent showdown value vs villains bluffs/semi bluffs. But with the equity you have you cant fault raising this hand either it's a perfectly acceptable line.Raising also takes advantage of your fold equity so that's an added advantage of raising. You cant really do much wrong on the flop or turn to be honest apart from fold.

Can you elaborate on this? I have a hard time with this stuff. What would their reasonable ranges be here? I thought the guy would have had a better kicker with his ace at least. Let’s say the turn comes and it’s not helpful for my hand and he bets pot, what ranges do I put him on to make a call, obviously I have outs still but that’s where it gets confusing for me especially when there’s more than 1 other player in the pot I panic and shove on flop knowing I most likely have outs to win

In regards to the other player in the pot by calling it increases the likelihood the other player will call. Which will increase your implied odds and your pot odds while raising will take advantage of your fold equity.

You have around 36% equity if you plug top 2 pair and three flush draws in villains range KK+,TT,AKs,QJs,9d8d,8d7d,7d6d,AKo.And since both players limped i'm assuming they aren't the best of players and your equity increases once you add hands like likely KTs QTs maybe some more flush draws. And in some of the worst case scenarios your going to have around 25% equity on the turn vs just the sets QJ and AK.Because of your equity you can play the flop and a turn a number of different ways none of which i don't think would be a big mistake.Possibly one line might be marginally better than another but i'm unsure whether that's the case or not maybe someone using a solver could give that answer.

Try playing around with some ranges and see what type of equity you have vs those ranges using this free tool from pokerstrategy.

I think the flop raise is bad. You have middle pair and a monster draw. Flat call IP, don't isolate yourself against his Ax donks. He doesn't understand you're the one with range advantage, keep it simple.
After that, you are behind but it is a call.

Don't try to figure out what their limping ranges look like, it's a worthless job. What I actually know is that he's donking range is mostly weak top pairs. You massively block draws and that's why.

Would be a pot odds question. Remember you have so many strong Ax and sets in your range, not to mention QT. Kx is not a mandatory showdown despite having all that equity.

Do you think he's folding better hands OTF when you raise? If the answer is no, you shouldn't be raising then.
