hi,

I guess I would have called the river vs any other sizing. Maybe I should even call this one.

iPoker - 10/20 NL (3 max) - Holdem - 3 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager 3

SB: 395 (19.8 bb)
Hero (BB): 415 (20.8 bb)
BTN: 690 (34.5 bb)

SB posts 10, Hero posts BB 20

Pre Flop: (pot: 30) Hero has 8♥: 7♠:
BTN calls 20, SB calls 10, Hero checks

Flop: (60, 3 players) K♥: 6♠: 5♦:
SB checks, Hero bets 30, BTN raises to 60, fold, Hero calls 30

Turn: (180, 2 players) 2♣:
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: (180, 2 players) 8♣:
Hero checks, BTN bets 180, Hero folds

Spoiler

Results: 180 pot (0 rake)
Final Board: K♥: 6♠: 5♦: 2♣: 8♣:

BTN wins 180

His sizing on river is fishy, but in the end you beat only a bluff and his min raise on flop is suspicious.

I think its better to x OTF. You really dont want to get raised.
As he limps along as a BU, I guess he`s playing a wide range. His size OTR makes a lot of sense for traps or rivered two pair. I dont think villain is turning a small pair into a bluff here, so fold should be best. Up to half pot you can call a river bet.
