its vs unkown. Its a 3 bet fold pre. He donks into me and I think I have to let go.

I'd just cold call pre. As played, with 2 overs, BD FD and a gutshot I'd float the flop.

Cold call pre-flop is indeed decent with position against him. Off course A7o isn't a hand that played well post-flop and is a 3bet not to bad to win the pot right away. Folding flop seems tight on a coordinated board with 4 outs for a straight and a backdoor flush as back-up. He could be on a draw as well.

+1 to above and imo without deeper stacks there is no need to turn any Ax into 3bet bluff. With closer to 100bb or so I would see point to mix in some Axs.

I'd rather flat pre. If he overfolds it's a different story.
I'd float as well as played. You have enough equity and position.
