Hi people.
I have a general question about pot odds. This is the situation. You end up at the flop with a flush draw. The pot is 200, my oponent bets 100. So my odds are 100/(200+100)= 3:1 = 25%. Nine outs would give a 36% chance of hitting the flush. So I'd say this is a call situation. The the pot is 400. On the turn my opponent bets 200, again half pot size. Same calculation gives me 25% but my chances decreased to 18%, so I can't justify this call.
Shoulden't I calculate the pot odds at the flop with only my chances of hitting the flush at the turn?
I hope someone can clarify this for me, thanks in advance.
