3 of the shortest stacks have the starting bounty. Let's assume there's no skill difference between players. From chipEV perspective, we need 37,6% equity to make the call break even. From ICM perspective, we would need more % by some margin. But at the same time the big bounty makes it more profitable to call it for less equity.
My assumption is that we should call this with less than 37,6% equity in the end. But how much worse? I'm mainly cash player so honestly I got no clue ![]()
Can we go as low as 23-27%?
After some hours of research and math I came to a conclusion that around 32-35% would be enough for the call. Too complicated to make more precise estimation without any real tools. Math is hard ♠_cry:
well my friend that is more info but some are still missing. I have to guess what action pre and flop have happend. In a pko you know how many chips a starting bounty is. You can add these chips to the pot odds equation. Its depends how much icm you have. How is the payout structure? Are you in the money bubble? If not its save to say its close to cev. That should you be nice for you. This leaves you with the equation I mentioned. Its basically better odds than you have here. If you would call in a cev spot you can call here too.
